Intent for our MFL French Curriculum
We aim to instil a lifelong love and passion for the French language and culture in our children. Through engaging and enjoyable learning experiences, we foster enthusiasm for French that transcends the classroom.
We focus on providing our children with a solid foundation in French knowledge and understanding. By introducing essential vocabulary, grammar, and cultural themes, we prepare pupils to confidently progress in their ongoing educational journey. Our curriculum encourages the development of transferable French skills and concepts. We believe language learning should be relatable to real-life situations and various subjects, equipping children for future learning and enhancing adaptability.
We hold high expectations for all learners, tailoring our curriculum to meet diverse needs. Employing varied teaching strategies and resources, we create a supportive environment where every pupil can reach their potential and build confidence in communicating in French.
