We have a number of different entrances for year groups / classes. Please ask at the School Office if you are unsure which entrance your child should use.

Lunchtime

Each class has a lunch break of approximately one hour. This allows for staggered eating times, play and small group intervention/teaching time. In order to accommodate all groups, we serve lunch between 11.30 and 12.30. Your child may choose from a selection of hot and cold healthy meals. These are provided by Citywide Catering, and are prepared in the school kitchen. If you prefer, a healthy packed lunch may be provided from home. Your child may change between school meals and packed lunches.

We have a duty of care to ensure that packed lunches are healthy and do not contain sweets, chocolate bars etc. Please do not be offended if we ask to discuss your child's eating habits with you. This is an important part of their education.

Free School Meals

Parents who qualify, can apply for free school meals for their children. As well as the benefit to yourselves, the school benefits because money is paid into the budget for every child whose parent accesses this system. For information please speak to a member of the Office team. When you apply for free school meals you will need to provide proof that you are in receipt of income support or income based job seekers allowance.

Further information is available via Salford Council's website: https://www.salford.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/free-school-meals/
